My studio days are filled with hard work, success, failure, re-work, starting over, and achieving beauty. Some days are wrought with challenges, and others flow like a cool breeze. Like every piece, every day in the studio is unique. The studio is a journey, not a destination.

Marbled and colored clay is my favorite, but the beauty of porcelain can be unmatched when all goes correctly.

Being a ceramist requires an appreciation for being covered in clay, and having your tools, studio, furnishings, and sometimes even your walls covered in clay. But I would have it no other way!
